July 4th 2005 sets a NEW record of
462 vendors!!!
The Flea Market Grounds From The Air!
Last summer we set up our
own table and were selling raffle tickets on a boat. The raffle
last year netted
the fire department almost $6000. It is called the Sounds of
Sirens raffle and quite a few area fire departments are taking part in
the
raffle. Total money raised for area departments last year was
around
$28,000. The boat was won by a resident of the Town of
Newbold.
The boat is
completely donated by WRJOldies radio, 94.5 FM and Plowmans Marine of
Arbor Vitae. Thank You WRJO

Also as an added fund raiser
we sold fire department tee-shirts. Sales went much better than
expected and most sizes were sold out early. This year we will be
starting with a larger number of shirts with a new design. Make
sure to get your shirts early before they are sold out!!!
